Procurement Multi-Family Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Saint Charles, Missouri. This is a contracting/business facing position supporting Cruse Missile Systems Programs. Position Responsibilities: Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools Manages, develops and motivates employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift: This position is for 1st shift.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
  • More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 1 year of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
