The Procurement Operations Analyst supports sourcing and procurement activities that enable efficient and reliable Facilities Operations across data center environments. This role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and operational execution, using tools such as Tableau, Smartsheets, and Power BI to provide visibility into spend, supplier performance, service levels, and operational risks. The Analyst partners closely with Facilities Operations, Procurement Managers, and suppliers to support sourcing events, purchase order execution, supplier performance tracking, and ongoing operational reporting. Through strong analytical skills and attention to detail, this role helps improve cost control, decision‑making, and operational efficiency across the facilities procurement lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain operations, facilities support, or data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Tableau, & SmartSheets to analyze large datasets.
  • Experience building and maintaining reports or dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional operations, technical, and procurement teams.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, reasoning skills, and strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Facilities Operations procurement in data center, industrial, manufacturing, or critical‑infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with facilities spend categories such as MRO, critical electrical and mechanical equipment, maintenance services, and professional services.
  • Experience with Power BI data models, DAX, or advanced Excel analytics.
  • Exposure to ERP or procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa).
  • Experience supporting supplier scorecards, KPI tracking, and cost modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end‑to‑end procurement process for Facilities Operations, including maintenance services, MRO materials, spare parts, and critical infrastructure equipment.
  • Assist with RFQs/RFPs, supplier data collection, bid tabulation, and commercial comparison analyses to support sourcing decisions.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance procurement dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and ERP data sources to track spend, supplier performance, PO status, and service metrics.
  • Use SQL or similar query tools to extract, validate, and analyze procurement and facilities data from enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Track and analyze purchase orders, service contracts, renewals, and delivery schedules, identifying trends, risks, delays, or cost variances and escalating as appropriate.
  • Support recurring Facilities Operations and procurement review meetings by preparing data‑driven insights, metrics, and variance analyses.
  • Perform spend analysis, pricing trend analysis, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to support cost‑control initiatives and operational decision‑making.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with QTS policies, procedures, and systems, and identify data‑driven opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and sourcing artifacts to support audit readiness and operational transparency.
  • Support supplier onboarding, approved vendor list maintenance, and supplier performance and compliance tracking.
  • Partner with Procurement Managers, Facilities Operations leaders, and the contracting team to support commercial issue resolution through fact-based analysis.
  • Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within Facilities Operations procurement and recommend data‑backed enhancements to tools, reports, and workflows.
