About The Position

HighRes is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Procurement / Purchasing Team Leader to strengthen our supply chain operations during an exciting period of growth. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day purchasing execution while shaping scalable processes that ensure material readiness, supplier reliability, and cost discipline across a fast-moving, regulated manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact position that partners closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to keep our automation systems delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience
• Prior team leadership experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in regulated industries (medical device, life sciences, or capital equipment preferred)
• Strong ERP/MRP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred but not required
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Purchasing team to ensure timely PO placement and follow-through
• Ensure material availability to support production, service, and new product introductions
• Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Operations
• Manage supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery) and drive corrective actions
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms
• Mitigate supply risks through proactive shortage management and dual sourcing
• Drive cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain ERP data integrity and procurement process compliance within an ISO-regulated environment
