About The Position

The Procurement Specialist II plays a crucial role in supporting sourcing, vendor management, and procurement activities across the organization.

Requirements

• Expertise in procurement, stakeholder management, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation.
• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in procurement within a multi-million dollar organization.
• 2 years of experience in negotiating contracts.
• 2+ years of experience in driving cost savings.
• 2+ years of experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) Programs.
• Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow or similar.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable contract terms, collaborating with the legal team as necessary.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and address procurement-related issues.
• Partner with Procurement Analysts to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Drive cost savings and implement process improvements.
• Promote policy compliance and educate stakeholders on procurement processes and risk management.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure proper classification, onboarding, and compliance of external workers.
