About The Position

The Global Procurement Paperboard Team, which consists of Hybrid Paper Solutions and Folding Cartons Categories, is responsible for the end-to-end management of PepsiCo’s North American Paperboard Packaging spend, a Brand billboard in the Food Retail and Foodservice channels, creating the first moment of truth with consumers. This Sector Team is part of the Global Fiber Category Team and leads sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management, innovation and operational execution — ensuring productivity, cost optimization, design to value, and Scope 3 emissions reduction aligned with PepsiCo Positive (pep+) goals are delivered. This category holds significant potential for sector-wide and global transformation over the next 10 years. The Hybrid Paper Global Procurement Senior Analyst will report to the Hybrid Paper Sr. Procurement Manager and serve as the subject matter expert for the Hybrid Paper solutions within PepsiCo’s North America Foods and Beverages Divisions. This individual will play a key role in supporting the execution of sub-categories sourcing strategies, developing and delivering productivity projects, establishing and growing strategic supplier partnerships, executing sustainability programs and driving Value Engineering and Cost projects across multiple brands. This role will also contribute to the larger Paperboard Category team in supporting wide initiatives such as should-cost modelling and digitalization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Packaging, or related field required, MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, packaging, supply chain, or related functions.
  • Experience with leading RFI/RFP and negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and treat large amounts of data for strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems. PowerBI experience is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills; capable of driving alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a strong intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset; proactively challenges the status quo to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Brings an agile mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, pivot quickly in response to evolving priorities, and drive progress in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • PowerBI experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day requirements of $120MM portfolio, ensuring compliance, pricing updates and critical operations functions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Support the creation, maintenance and evolution of commercial relationships with the Hybrid Paper suppliers across Foods and Beverage's divisions.
  • Lead the creation and the enhancements in data management with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve accuracy, alignment, standardization, digitalization and operational efficiency.
  • Develop analytical models, dashboards to identify cost, specification, and standardization opportunities across package formats and suppliers.
  • Execute RFI/RFP and Negotiations with suppliers.
  • Present and execute value engineering projects. Support the creation of pipeline.
  • Support the category efforts to implement Should Cost Model, Spend HQ, FORCER and other digital tools.
  • Support PepsiCo’s sustainability agenda to deliver PEP+ goals for the category.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners including Procurement teams, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance to ensure smooth project executions.
