Knowledge and skills beyond that of an Operator through work on manufacturing equipment, machinery or information systems. Responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Complete work that meets production and quality standards. Notify the Operations Supervisor of any occurrences that negatively impact production. This Team Member typically has acquired the general knowledge and skills of the Operator. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines. Position Summary: Set up, trouble shoot and operate the Automatic Perforator (Blue Whale). Set up the automatic perforator and configure the machine based on the job to be performed. Manually align coils accurately to be bonded ensuring materials track correctly with the correct hole pattern, tang height and registration. Recognize potential issues early with coil/material alignment and perforator operation. Troubleshooting issues once recognized to prevent quality issues and scrap.
