Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Milwaukee, WI that is looking for a Product Configuration Specialist for a 7-month project with potential to extend.
Summary:
This person will be responsible for seamless, rapid and global implementation of sales specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM) and product data supporting the business strategies and supply chain requirements while verifying the completeness and correctness of product structures.
Duties:
* Works cross-functionally with subject matter experts of various levels of management to review engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing requirements along with new product development data to establish rules and ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies
* Provide recommendations to a wide variety of problems related to configuration and change management; coordinate with engineering and manufacturing on all product changes affecting sales specifications and bill of materials
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a business or a technical discipline
* Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing or sales environment
