About the position

We are looking for a Product Data Coordinator to organize and manage the data processes related to product information and product performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills to ensure product data accuracy, consistency, and availability across the organization. This position will involve working closely with product managers, data teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that product data is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Product Data Management: Assign attributes to all new products that enable effective marketing and analysis. Oversee the collection, maintenance, and organization of product data to ensure consistency and accuracy across various systems and platforms.
  • Data Entry and Quality Assurance: Ensure all product attributes are accurately entered into product databases and systems. Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Support Product Teams: Collaborate with product managers, marketing and product development teams to gather and update relevant product information for use across multiple platforms (e-commerce, internal systems, etc.).
  • Data Reporting and Analysis: Assist in generating regular reports on product data, performance metrics, and key product insights.
  • Data Integration and System Updates: Coordinate with IT teams to ensure product data is accurately integrated and synced across multiple systems (e.g., ERP, PIM, CRM).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, inventory, and customer support to ensure product data is up-to-date and meets business requirements.
  • Product Catalog Maintenance: Support the management of the product catalog, including adding new products, updating existing products, and archiving outdated items.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies, collaborating with relevant teams to find solutions.
  • Product Lifecycle Tracking: Assist in tracking the product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation, ensuring that product data reflects current product availability and status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information management, data science, marketing, merchandising, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data coordination, data entry, or a related role, preferably in product management, e-commerce, or retail.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data management tools for analysis, reporting, and tracking.
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic understanding of product catalogs and the product lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with data integration and managing data flows between systems.
