About the position

APPLE INC has the following available in Culver City, California. Pitch artwork planning presentations to Engineering and Design for sign-off and technical implementation. Hand off and train designers on the final production Photoshop templates, including through defining art specifications, methods, tools and behavior used for publishing to the end Apple product/device user using Sketch, Keynote, Photoshop. Collaborate with Product Designers, Editorial Designers, Engineering, and Producers to ensure product artwork and tools function as envisioned by Design. Work with product designers and engineering to spec artwork systems across products/services and device families using Sketch, Photoshop, Keynote and other internal tools. Assist in graphic asset pulling and rapid asset creation to flesh out proposals and unblock engineering development using Sketch, Keynote and Photoshop. Create Design keynote decks (audience is Engineering/Product Design, Editorial Design Teams, Content Producer groups). Create and maintain documentation for new products, Editorial Artwork Tools, Artwork QA Testing and tracking issues with Engineering using Quip and other collaborative tools. Take in issues and feedback with external artwork in all existing and future systems, advise business on standards/specs. Work to publish internal and external artwork specs to educate parties predicting raw and finished artwork for IS&S products using Keynote and Sketch. Ability to make choices and balance between efficiency and control or customization for Design teams.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 5 years of experience using Sketch to define artwork specifications including size, behavior and resolution.
  • 5 years of experience using Photoshop to handle rapid creation of complex, multi-layered and nested Photoshop templates.
  • 5 years of experience using Keynote to create presentations explaining artwork system concepts.
  • 5 years of experience using Illustrator to create visuals for design system explanation.
  • System Architecture Design Experience.
  • Technical Design Experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Virtual and Augmented Reality design.
