  • Assist in the design, maintenance, and improvement of Bradley products.
  • Participate in product development teams to design, validate, and release new products following the established phase-gate development process.
  • Design and process customer requested special product orders.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop product specifications and requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and design failure modes and effects analyses (DFMEAs).
  • Plan and perform applicable engineering calculations, analysis, and product testing.
  • Execute prototype construction, inspection, and testing.
  • Analyze results to ensure performance and quality objectives are met.
  • Provide technical product support while collaborating with customer service, technical support, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain team members to resolve production and customer problems.
  • Evaluate engineering change requests (ECR) and execute engineering change orders (ECO) following the established change management process.
  • Proficiently document designs using 2D and 3D CAD software to clearly communicate engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements in accordance with ANSI/ASME Y14.x drafting standards.
  • Create and maintain part records and bills of materials in the corporate ERP system (Epicor).
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications and CAD platforms.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborative, creative, curious, and customer-focused nature.
  • Ability to set goals, prioritize and plan work, and use time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
