About The Position

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team and help lead the design and development of our virtual care platform. This role will help drive development of our mobile app for patients and their families, as well as support equip.health, our informational and marketing website. The Product Designer needs to be passionate about improving access to healthcare and has a proven track record of creating user-centered digital solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in product design or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a designer within a fast-paced, agile environment, ideally working at a tech-enabled healthcare company.
  • Proven track record working on a digital platform with an active user base.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across product, engineering, and business teams.
  • Proficiency in using design tools (Figma) and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results with limited resources and work independently with a bias toward action.

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for a variety of use cases and audiences.
  • Clearly communicate design solutions to stakeholders through wireframes, prototypes, and detailed implementation specifications.
  • Partner with business leaders, product management, and engineering to ensure alignment throughout the process.
  • Help establish and promote design system guidelines, brand consistency, and implement best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to user research and usability testing in order to incorporate feedback and make data-driven decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
