Smyl is a digital health startup addressing fall risk, frailty, and inactivity among older adults. We combine tablet-based assessments, mobile coaching, automated outreach, and human-led follow-ups to deliver engaging, evidence-based care. Our users include health plans, community organizations, clinical partners, and older adults—each with unique workflows, data needs, and accessibility considerations. We’re a small, cross-functional team where product, engineering, and operations collaborate closely to ship high-impact tools for vulnerable populations. Smyl Fitness Rx is seeking a skilled Product Designer to establish the UX and visual foundation of our healthcare platform. While we have a strong product and engineering team, a growing customer base, and proven traction, we are now focused on developing a cohesive and scalable user experience. We’re looking for someone with the design, technical, and analytical expertise to help define that vision and bring it to life. Our platform must serve dual purposes: a robust administrative interface for internal teams and business partners, and an intuitive, accessible experience tailored to the needs of older adult users. This role will be critical in bridging the gap between complex technical systems and the individuals who interact with them—ensuring our tools are both effective and human-centered.
