About The Position

As a Product Designer at Milliman IntelliScript, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing innovative solutions for our SaaS platforms (Irix, Curv, R&D, and more). You’ll collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to create user-centered experiences that drive value for our customers. This is an opportunity to shape the direction of our products, contribute to a growing design practice, and work on impactful projects in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant product design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
  • Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and a passion for solving user problems

Nice To Haves

  • Continued education and/or advanced degree(s)
  • Product design experience within SaaS or technology organizations
  • Experience in environments subject to HIPAA and/or PCI regulations
  • Experience with cloud-based products (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

  • Work through all phases of the design process – from research and discovery to prototyping, validation, and final delivery
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate insights into intuitive designs that solve real user problems
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Help maintain and evolve our design systems and processes for consistency and efficiency
  • Champion user-centered design across the organization and advocate for best practices
