About The Position

Overview Xeris is a growth-oriented biopharmaceutical company committed to improving patient lives by developing and commercializing innovative products across a range of therapies. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Formulations department for the Early-Stage Analytical team. This internship offers hands-on experience in analytical testing of pharmaceuticals, exposure to real-world projects, and an opportunity to develop professional skills in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist with preparing samples according to SOPs, characterization of drug molecules, data analysis, method development, laboratory ELN Support the team in day-to-day operations as needed Perform routine instrument operation, calibration, and basic maintenance Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed At the conclusion of the internship, prepare a comprehensive review of the internship experience and present to the organization Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Masters in Biology, Chemistry or related field and/or has completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate studies Minimum GPA 3.0 Returning to academic program at a credentialed institution for at least one semester post-internship Strong interest in pharmaceuticals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in laboratory safety, basic laboratory instruments (pH, balances, etc.), excel Prior class in chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, lab instrumentation related course Thrive in a fast-paced, diverse work environment Competencies : Written and Verbal Communication, Teamwork & Collaboration, Attention to Detail, Self-Starter, Analytical skills, Problem Solving, Organizational skills, Adaptability, Professionalism. Working Conditions: Position may require periodic evening and weekend work, as necessary to fulfill obligations. The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $23.50 - $33.50. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Masters in Biology, Chemistry or related field and/or has completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate studies
