Product Development Engineer - PLT Replacement

As a Product Development Engineer in our Passenger and Light Truck (PLT) Tire division, you'll be at the forefront of innovation-designing and launching new tire lines that meet the evolving needs of drivers across the Americas. Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new tire lines, translating market insights and customer needs into high-performance products that meet quality, cost, and timing targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, strategies, and test plans that push the boundaries of tire technology.
• Oversee the seamless industrialization of new products, ensuring they are production-ready and aligned with strategic roadmaps.
• Manage and enhance existing tire lines throughout their lifecycle, introducing new sizes and improvements that keep our offerings competitive.
• Support marketing, sales, and customer engagement efforts through technical documentation, launch events, and performance feedback.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives, mentor new team members, and continuously develop your own expertise in a supportive, innovation-driven culture.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering
• 2+ years of Tire Development experience
• Experience in R&D in the tire industry
• Experience in managing multiple projects
• Strong commitment, assertiveness, intercultural sensibility and a team orientated mindset
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.

• Master's degree
• 5+ years of related professional experience
