Product Development Engineer Job Description:
Aerotek has an OPENING for a Product Development Engineer to support a medical devices client in the R&D sector.
The successful candidate will coordinate the assigned engineering projects and tasks as the lead Product Development Engineer
B.S in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
7 or more years in the design and development of electronic sensor products. At least 5 years experience developing electronic medical devices with embedded software
Must have hands on R&D lab experience and the ability to operate digital oscillopes, DVMS, spectrum analyzers, and other common lab instruments.
Experience in cross functional engineering, electronic hardware design, and sensor mechanical mechanisms.
Extensive Experience with Board Designs
Experience in Risk Hazard Analysis and V&V Testing
Experience using Mat lab and LabVIEW
Must have a clear understanding of experimental engineering techniques as well as theoretical and fundamental practices.
