About The Position

Ready to be a part of the company transforming FinTech and how the world accesses banking services? When was the last time you were genuinely excited about interacting with your bank or credit union? If the answer is “a while,” you’re not alone. Despite the fact that access to better financial choices is central to empowering communities, businesses, and people, financial institutions (FIs) are struggling to keep up with modern expectations. That’s where Kinective comes in. We’re here to lead the way to intelligent banking—by building software that connects a historically “boring” industry to the latest and greatest fintechs shaping the future. Banks and credit unions rely on deeply entrenched legacy systems, which makes innovation slow, complex, and often impossible. As the largest provider of software connectivity to 1 in 3 U.S financial institutions, Kinective is the connector (get it?) that bridges that technology gap. Our 500+ talented, passionate team members are united by a shared mission: making life easier for our clients and helping modernize banking for everyone. The Cliffs Notes This is a general internship application for students interested in Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, UI/UX Design, and Product Management at Kinective. We’re looking for bright and driven students and professionals who are excited to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world products used by financial institutions across the country. As an intern within our Product Development teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle—from idea to design, build, test, and release. You won’t be fetching coffee or watching from the sidelines. Instead, you’ll work directly with experienced product managers, engineers, designers, QA analysts, and DevOps professionals on meaningful projects that ship to production. This internship is ideal for students exploring early-career paths in product, engineering, or design—and looking to graduate with practical experience, stronger technical and collaboration skills, and a clearer sense of where they want to grow next. Kinective’s internship program spans 12 weeks , beginning June 1, 2025 and concluding August 21, 2025 . This is a paid position at $20/hour . Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our headquarters in Golden, CO .
