As a Product Development Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for product, packaging and process development for multiple product categories plus developing strategy, setting functional policy and procedures, leading cross-functional teams, and being a subject matter expert for R&D processes.
Responsibilities
- Researches/analyzes industry technology and consumer trends to identify opportunities for new products, new process technologies, and cost savings initiatives.
- Manages product portfolio throughout the full lifecycle of product development and design process.
- Participates in/contributes to all aspects of product design, including new idea generation, prototype development, competitive assessments, and regulatory and food safety compliance.
- Adheres to Stage-Gate and Product Development/Commercialization SOP's.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in food technology/food science, Masters preferred.
- 7 to 10 years experience in product development in the food industry.
