About the position

To prevent consumer harm, WMC Global specializes in identifying the sources and methods of digital threats, shutting down related in-market threat delivery mechanisms, and creating barriers to threat propagation. Our team is leading the charge in mobile and digital threat intelligence and bringing its expertise in wireless communications and detection, processes, and investigative techniques to protect financial institutions, Fortune 500 brands, governments and their customers. You’ll become part of this passionate team that leads the industry in award-winning mobile cyber threat intelligence. As Product Director (Director), you’ll be accountable for driving product strategy and managing product development and lifecycle (PDLC) maintenance for two distinct yet complementary product suites: Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Trusted Messaging. Our cybersecurity products are highly technical and will require a strong technical foundation as well as cybersecurity expertise for success. You’ll be responsible for driving product revenue growth and managing departmental resources, and your leadership will result in a high performing product team. You’ll be part of a fast-moving and evolving company, and you’ll work directly alongside senior internal stakeholders to execute product strategy, accelerating market presence and decreasing time to value. A successful Director prioritizes and manages their time well, adeptly leading teams toward timely execution of corporate and departmental goals. You can be relied upon to consistently deliver and keep teams motivated and on task. As Director, you are responsible for overseeing the PDLC along with measurement and reporting of product health KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a scalable product strategy, in partnership with senior leadership, recommending dynamic adjustments as context requires.
  • Prioritize product investments based on business impact, technical feasibility, and customer or market demand.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing product team responsible for critical growth path of organization.
  • Establish and track key product health metrics, informing roadmap transparency and accuracy.
  • Lead product function, managing, mentoring, coaching, and developing product team and guiding business analysts as needed.
  • Manage departmental hiring strategies and support new employee onboarding/training and departmental and professional growth plans.
  • Set product KPIs and performance metrics, regularly analyzing team performance and individual initiatives.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, providing ongoing feedback and development plans to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Deliver timely and appropriate corrective action to ensure personnel and strategic initiatives track toward high performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and communicate a risk-based and data-driven product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
  • Lead the creation of a balanced product portfolio, including SaaS platforms, data services, and professional CTI threat hunting solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to enhance product value and maximize revenue potential.
  • Drive the end-to-end PDLC, from concept to market launch, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
  • Establish product release plans with clear milestones, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, technical feasibility, and customer or market feedback.
  • Deploy implementation plans and monitoring initiatives to ascertain success of product strategy.
  • Facilitate build vs. buy decisions when assessing product need.
  • Support revenue goals by enabling Sales and Strategic Partnerships with compelling product positioning.
  • Lead quarterly product reviews with executive leadership, highlighting product success, risks, and plans.
  • Conduct regular product reviews and health analysis, providing executive leadership with detailed performance reports.
  • Develop product management best practices, processes, and tools to scale operations efficiently.
  • Ensure product-market fit by continuously evaluating industry trends, market gaps, and competitor offerings.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback through direct client interaction or surveys.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, PMO, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Strategic Partnerships teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ professional experience required, of which: 7+ years must be in relevant, progressive management role.
  • At least 5 years working in product management in cybersecurity or related industry required.
  • Experience with SMB technology companies is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and API-driven products.
  • Validated success working in a remote fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptionally organized with superior time- and self-management skills.
  • Sound strategic-thinking, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, including threat intelligence platforms, data analytics, and industry frameworks.
  • Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in efficiently supporting day-to-day functions in M365, Atlassian Products (Jira and Confluence), and Splunk.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree preferred.
  • Industry recognized professional certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, SAFe Product Management a plus).
