Requirements

Work Experience : 2 years of work experience in product engineering or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above
Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
Computer Skills: Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, working and designing experience in 3D Solid Model environment(s)

Responsibilities

Define new product concepts
Assist in development of new product protocol
Assist with the development of the product design and functionality including but not limited to: Solid Model design work, specification of materials, structural analysis, and testing programs
Compile and analyze operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products
Implement the product design within the schedule and budget parameters
Analyze the risks of a design or process and communicate results
Provide support to manufacturing to ensure products are fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design
Support value engineering and cost savings initiatives for existing product designs to refine and ensure design intent and functionality
Develop and maintain procedures and processes that support business requirements
Communicate with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions
Generate effective written and oral communication to support, execute, and document project activities
Maintain records for patent and IP protection
Initiate and review all cost estimates, drawings, and Engineering Change Notice/Engineering Change Order (ECN/ECO) associated with assigned projects
