Product Insights Manager
About The Position
HunaTek is searching for a Product Insights Manager to support the U.S. Army JAG Corps’ AI Strategy by developing scalable, user-centric analytics solutions. This role plays a critical part in defining the product vision for analytics and data visualization, ensuring solutions align with mission objectives and end-user needs. The Product Insights Manager will translate user requirements into actionable user stories, epics, and features, guiding development efforts in an agile environment. This position requires 5 days per week on-site at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-7 years in data visualization, business intelligence, and analytics.
- Power BI Expertise: Proven ability to design and develop interactive dashboards.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong skills in querying, manipulating, and analyzing data.
- Product Mindset: Experience in product management principles, including backlog management, feature development, and iterative solution design.
- Agile Methodologies: Ability to define, refine, and manage user stories that guide development tasks in an agile manner.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams, end-users, and leadership.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in DOD or government agencies.
- Familiarity with legal data systems and case management platforms.
- Agile Certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP).
Responsibilities
- Define and refine user stories, epics, and features, ensuring alignment with mission needs and product vision.
- Develop scalable, interactive Power BI dashboards that support rapid prototyping and operational analytics.
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and end-users, ensuring data solutions are intuitive, impactful, and aligned with mission objectives.
- Guide hypothesis-driven development, enabling iterative improvements based on user feedback.
- Support product management efforts by working with senior team members to develop and prioritize epics and features that align with strategic goals.
- Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
- Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager
