The Personal Care team is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented intern to support global market intelligence, supplier analysis, and competitive insight initiatives. This role will focus on building structured data tools and models that enhance visibility into supplier capacity, trade flows, and market share across hygiene and healthcare applications. Over a 12-week period, the intern will develop a comprehensive global supplier intelligence database, support trade flow and capacity utilization analysis, standardize weekly and monthly market reporting, and contribute to bottom-up market share modeling. The position will deliver tangible, business-critical outputs that strengthen data-driven decision making within the Personal Care team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree - Business or Marketing
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data organization required)
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and structured summaries
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities within defined timelines
  • Some experience in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Processes, Marketing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and consolidate data from 3rd party information and internal sources to support market intelligence initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive global supplier intelligence database, classifying suppliers by geography, end-markets served, machine technologies, and installed capacity.
  • Develop visual dashboards and analytical tools to assess supplier concentration, line structures, competitive intensity, and regional supply distribution.
  • Analyze international trade flows; integrate findings with capacity estimates to evaluate utilization rates and domestic supply availability.
  • Support the development of bottom-up market share models by region and application
  • Monitor market trends; provide structured weekly and monthly updates to the Personal Care team.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries and presentations highlighting key insights and strategic implications.
