About The Position

Job Description The Insurance Product Management Senior Consultant I or II is responsible for the overall financial and health of the flood product and contributes to achieving profit and growth targets for an insurance product(s). This position will analyze and present complex data and facts to support recommendations on potential initiatives, interacting with other departments in and out of Allstate. This role can be filled at the Sr. Consultant I or II level depending on the selected candidate. This position is within the private flood insurance product group.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in homeowners line of business

  • Experience in the flood line of business is not required

Responsibilities

  • Gather relevant facts in support of strategies to ensure the integration and execution of product, pricing and risk management for countrywide usage
  • Contribute to the achievement of short- and long-term strategies to achieve market share growth and profitability targets on a countrywide basis
  • Actively participate in coordinated efforts across the organization to facilitate the implementation of initiatives
  • Perform analyses (e.g. competitor, product, market, risk management, financial) to understand the underlying health of the product(s)
  • Execute strategies which may include new distribution channel initiatives, best practices and new products and services
  • Manage / perform unique work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels and navigate obstacles to deliver the work product
  • Measure and communicate results; make recommendations to leaders on redirection opportunities of efforts
  • Perform activities to ensure appropriate development and implementation of products
