About The Position

As Marqeta's Product Manager for Business Systems, you'll lead the vision and development of our Salesforce platform, working closely with teams across Sales, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Customer Support. You'll create a roadmap that streamlines processes, boosts productivity, and takes advantage of AI-powered features to make life easier for both our internal teams and customers. You'll also evaluate solutions both within and outside Salesforce, while partnering with our data teams to keep everything organized and accurate. We're looking for someone who loves working with people at all levels and can translate complex technical concepts into simple terms. You'll balance day-to-day maintenance with exciting new projects, keep our documentation up to date, and work with engineers to implement smart solutions using agile practices. Your work will have real impact—improving customer experiences, supporting company-wide goals, and helping our teams work more efficiently. We work Flexible First. Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ability to own product vision, build strategic roadmaps, and drive execution from concept to delivery
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Community Portals, including strong working knowledge of Salesforce objects, data models, relationships, and configuration best practices
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-phase projects in Agile/Scrum environments, with ability to balance competing priorities and deliver iterative value
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and other SaaS platforms, understanding API connections, data flows, and system dependencies
  • Strong technical documentation and knowledge management skills, with ability to create and maintain clear documentation for stakeholders at all technical levels
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex concepts in simple, accessible terms

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execute key features on the Business Systems Roadmap in partnership with EM and other Product Managers.
  • Innovate, automate and define scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional external customer experience, internal user experience and data integrity
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce engineering team to write detailed user stories and functional requirements.
  • Partner with internal operations teams (GTM, Risk, Finance, Risk and Cardholder support) to ensure systems are compliant
  • Participate in daily standups and perform stakeholder demos
