About the position

Ibotta is seeking a Product Manager, Consumer Experience to join our Consumer team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our direct-to-consumer strategy by leading our engagement and retention efforts—from strategic vision to execution, overseeing the critical touchpoints that help our consumers get the most value out of Ibotta’s direct-to-consumer products. The Consumer team is focused on expanding the Ibotta Performance Network by building rewarding direct-to-consumer experiences, via our mobile, web, and browser extension products. This role will focus on tackling barriers to retention and building satisfying user-centric experiences. You will partner with both mobile and platform engineering squads to help define and execute on our consumer strategy. This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the roadmap for core mobile experiences, with a focus on improving user retention and engagement metrics.
  • Establish, drive, and evolve the domain roadmap and its execution for the consumer product space.
  • Directly impact key metrics like weekly active users and offer redemption volume, while collaborating cross-functionally to improve the overall consumer experience.
  • Build solid partnerships with leaders across the company from engineering to sales, to enable world-class direct-to-consumer redemption experiences powered by Ibotta.
  • Regularly communicate with group leaders and executive stakeholders regarding squad execution, roadmap, and strategic opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience delivering successful B2C or B2B2C experiences, especially across mobile and web applications.
  • BA/BS in business or technology required.
  • A track record of building and delivering high-quality products and experiences on-time with high quality, measuring results, and achieving positive outcomes.
  • Instinctually work to fully understand, and deliver solutions on, what our customers really want rather than building what they say they want.
  • Ability to tell a meaningful, engaging story regarding the team’s work and how it furthers business objectives.
  • Able to leverage extensive and robust data to inform swift, high-quality decisions; but also remain decisive when faced with a lack of it.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Looker, LaunchDarkly, Figma, and Databricks are a plus.
  • Evidence of creating clear, transparent, inclusive, and broadly understood approaches to iterative product development that increase team effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums (visual, written, verbal) that build stakeholder coalitions and reinforce your decisions with focus and brevity.
