About the position

We’re looking for a Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of Data & API integrations that empower our customers to hire the best talent, develop high-performing employees, and build a thriving, engaged workforce. You’ll play a key role in shaping how our customers interact with and benefit from the data that Bamboo & our partner integrations have to offer them. You will have a significant impact on how our customers & AI interact with and leverage the data provided by Bamboo and our partner integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the challenges and opportunities for our company and integration data by conducting research and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Clearly define and frame both internal and external customers' challenges for your team while prioritizing opportunities for improvement.
  • Consistently deliver high-value solutions aimed at improving user behavior and outcomes for our customers and BambooHR.
  • Strategically manage the product roadmap by capturing input from various sources, comprehending and prioritizing this input, and ensuring your team is focused on the most impactful projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across BambooHR to identify pain points and optimize solutions for better customer interactions.
  • Possess the ability to comprehend and communicate technical requirements effectively. Transform these requirements into actionable specifications for your engineering team.
  • Collaborate with your team to think creatively, envisioning future solutions that effectively address identified challenges and improve our competitive positioning.
  • Define solution scopes to their most compact and coherent state, allowing for early customer deployment.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of your solutions through quantitative and qualitative measures to ensure they successfully address the identified challenges.
  • Take full responsibility for the quality and excellence of the data and analytics product areas your team manages.
  • Inspire and lead a team of dedicated, intelligent professionals to achieve their career best, fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products.
  • Strong experience working with Design and UX.
  • Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them.
  • Experience working with qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data to inform decisions.
  • Self-driven and organized with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to switch between thinking creatively and analytically.
