The Data Catalog Product Manager supports the implementation, maintenance, and adoption of the Enterprise Data Catalog and other metadata management capabilities within the Data & Analytics (D&A) organization. This position is responsible for the ongoing curation, accuracy, and usability of metadata assets, including data definitions, business glossary terms, and certified report documentation. The role works in close partnership with the Data Governance Principal to ensure the catalog reflects enterprise standards, aligns with governance policies, and meets the needs of analytics and business users. This position plays a key role in driving catalog adoption, user training, and engagement, serving as the operational owner of the Enterprise Data Catalog platform. This job requires: - 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare or another regulated industry. - 1 to 3 years of experience with metadata management or data catalog platforms (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Atlan). - 1+ years of experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma). - 3 years of experience writing and interpreting SQL queries. - Experience with scripting or API integration (Python preferred) for automation or metadata management tasks. - Familiarity with data quality management concepts and tools. This is a full-time individual contributor role that may be remote, with occasional travel to New Orleans for team-related activities. Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare or another regulated industry.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with metadata management or data catalog platforms (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Atlan).
  • 1+ years of experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma).
  • 3 years of experience writing and interpreting SQL queries.
  • Experience with scripting or API integration (Python preferred) for automation or metadata management tasks.
  • Familiarity with data quality management concepts and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or related field.
  • 2 years of product manager or other relevant experience.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management or working in software development environment.
  • Ability to operate autonomously to own and drive a product feature.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications and ability to interpret, analyze, and understand complex data sets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizations to further the mission of the product team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use a creative approach.
  • Time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Drives feature prioritization and feature definition for digital and telemedicine products.
  • Engages with customers and stakeholders through existing channels to capture the voice of the customer and use it for feature design.
  • Defines the requirements for the feature, including how to measure, and drives scoping and feature implementation with the software development team.
  • Provides effective status updates on the feature to digital and telemedicine leadership.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve existing product(s) and propose ideas to leaders on the team.
  • Measures the effectiveness of the feature.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations, and standards.
