Requirements

  • 2+ years of product management experience with a bachelor's degree, 0–2 years of product management experience with a Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting API products and a strong understanding of developer platforms, or integration tooling such as developer portals, SDKs, webhooks, or sandbox environments, with comfort reasoning about API specifications and common integration patterns.
  • Proven ability to collaborate deeply with engineers and technical teams, including reading and discussing API designs, clarifying requirements, and using AI‑driven tools to support technical analysis and partner integration workflows.
  • Track record of data‑driven product decision making, including defining and monitoring metrics, running experiments, incorporating qualitative insights, and using defensible prioritization frameworks to manage a product backlog and deliver outcomes in an agile environment.
  • Strong customer and partner centricity with effective written and verbal communication skills, including experience representing external developers or partners, simplifying complex technical topics, and influencing stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including leveraging AI-assisted developer experiences (for example, AI skills in portals or documentation) to improve integration quality, speed, and scalability and demonstrated experience taking products from concept to scaled adoption.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in hospitality, travel, marketplaces, or other supply‑driven businesses, ideally with exposure to lodging or vacation rental connectivity.
  • Experience translating partner use cases into technical requirements, reviewing API designs, and providing feedback based on missing or unclear business needs.
  • Familiarity with observability and reliability metrics for APIs (latency, error rates, SLAs/SLOs) and how they impact partner and traveler experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for Lodging Connectivity’s developer platform capabilities (user experience, integration tools) in support of connectivity goals.
  • Craft end‑to‑end developer experiences inspired by leading API platforms (e.g., clear integration journeys, SDKs, MCP, LLMs) so developers can self‑serve and ship integrations with speed, quality and trust
  • Represent the voice of the software developer and connectivity partner through all stages of the product lifecycle, from discovery and design to launch and iteration—grounding decisions in real partner feedback and usage data.
  • Own product requirements by translating business and partner use cases into clear, testable specifications
  • Drive revolutionary product ideation with constant curiosity and use of emerging technologies
  • Drive backlog prioritization and execution using defensible frameworks (e.g., impact/effort, ROI, risk), writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring shipped experiences are robust, secure, and easy to adopt.
  • Use data and experimentation to guide decisions, defining and monitoring KPIs/OKRs such as developer onboarding time, integration success rate, partner satisfaction, and API reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (engineering, program management, support, account management, marketing, legal, and compliance) to align strategy, manage dependencies, and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and often, tailoring messages to technical and non‑technical audiences—whether you’re reviewing payload designs with engineers, presenting tradeoffs to senior leaders, or walking partners through an integration path.
