As a Product Manager at ANB Bank, you will spearhead the development and implementation for our Application Programming Interfaces (API) product strategies that will drive efficiencies and enhance customer experience. This person should have the ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product from product planning, road mapping, understanding user needs to align stakeholders around the vision of the product. We're looking for a confident leader to join the team who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of product enhancements that will improve the customer experience.

  • Own a portfolio of products that are a main interface between IT and business units.
  • Oversee the full API product lifecycle from API design to production.
  • Define the vision and strategy for API's product based on market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
  • Understand the technical details of the API and how it integrates with various systems.
  • Create diagrams, flowcharts and other visual aids to assist in understanding the API.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation for developers.
  • Work closely with other stakeholders to come up with optimal strategies that deliver the most value to the business.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for our API's, to ensure proper usage and integration.
  • Monitor the performance in production and gather feedback from users.
  • Continuously update and improve the organizations API utilization based on customer feedback, technological advancements, regulatory changes and market trends.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product growth by reviewing product specifications and requirements and appraising new product ideas and/or identifying other areas for product growth within the enterprise.
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
  • Gather and analyze information relevant to current and new products and services.
  • Effectively interact with employees, vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures and quality of service and problem resolution.
  • Assess current product offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate steps to ensure they're successfully achieved.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  • Provide leadership, management, and strategic support for a variety of large- and small-scale projects.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term product growth plans, special reports and analyses, and answer questions and requests.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Maintain a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.
  • Maintain confidentiality and deliver quality of service as defined by department standards.

  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • 4 - 6 years of related banking, IT or product management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
