One of the major purposes of the Marketing department internship is to provide a meaningful and educational work experience. The intern role is limited to the internship program terms only. Marketing Process and Product Support: Contribute to the optimization of marketing processes and learn about product marketing What You’ll Learn: Digital Marketing Support: Assist with digital marketing efforts, including advertising campaigns and content creation, with an opportunity to learn about analytics and optimization. Email Marketing and Web Presence: Get involved in email marketing and web content strategies to enhance user engagement and experience. Community Engagement: Support initiatives to strengthen community ties and improve GTE Financials’ presence and impact within the community. Marketing Process and Product Support: Contribute to the optimization of marketing processes and learn about product marketing Program Highlights: Full-time hours, up to 40 per week, with the expectation that this internship will be your main focus. Engage in two group projects that will be implemented across the credit union, allowing you to contribute significantly to our future and showcase your learnings. Play an integral role in the GTE Scholarship Program, helping to facilitate, support, and present to GTE Board Members.

Requirements

Demonstrated practical judgment in making decisions.
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
Effective verbal communication and writing/documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in making decisions and sound judgment in solving problems.
Ability to think strategically and assess impacts on an enterprise-wide basis.
Ability to abide by deadlines for project completion.
Ability to present a professional image when working with management, as well as in a professional setting.
Associations and other external interactions on behalf of GTE Financial.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well independently.
Networking experience or classroom/IT Certification equivalent
Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Enrolled in an accredited University
Must submit a cover letter, resume, and transcripts, and provide three references
Demonstration of extra-curricular and community service activities

Required to have power and high-speed internet over 100MB (minimum)
Video capability (connection of 1.5 Mbps up and down recommended)
Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training
Hybrid candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed
Remote candidates must be able to attend on-premises meetings as required and/or requested
