The Product Manager, Molecular POC Solutions role at Roche is designed for an experienced professional driven by technical prowess and customer insights to bring value to customers across the molecular point of care solution portfolio. This position partners with key US and global stakeholders to drive customer and business needs, managing internal processes that drive product updates and handling product availability-related inquiries. The PM is responsible for gathering data to create product forecasts and business plans, serving as the business owner and key point of contact for all matters pertaining to their portfolio. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization to deliver innovative customer solutions and involves research, analysis, and solution development. The PM is expected to think strategically, collaborate effectively, and translate customer feedback into actionable results.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive portfolio/product strategy to accomplish business objectives.
  • Manage and support assigned product lines including forecasting, pricing, inventory management, and implementation of product updates.
  • Influence product development and lifecycle decisions as the US customer and marketing representative.
  • Serve as the technical expert for the specific area of responsibility.
  • Develop business area mastery via deep understanding of market segments & trends, business model, analysis of critical success factors, sales forecasting, competition, and customer needs.
  • Support customer conversations and presentations, including customer meetings, IHN visits, 360 events, and medical conferences.
  • Inspire impactful business solutions and positive change by encouraging, motivating, and empowering others.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, other Life Sciences or business-related fields.
  • 5 years of product management, marketing, business, or equivalent work experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven record of navigating complex and challenging situations.
  • Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skills; able to influence across a wider stakeholder network.
  • Technical aptitude and/or a background in the lab or healthcare-related field.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and data-driven decision making.
  • Detail-oriented, able to independently drive multiple projects, prioritize based on business-critical needs, and independently make decisions and recommendations that align to overall business and portfolio strategy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Molecular Point of Care testing space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google suite tools.
  • Ability to travel in the continental US or globally as dictated by business need.
