As Product Manager for Banking Services, you will operate with independence and perform an integral role in leading value add services to ensure they are optimized for profitability. You will manage our Immediate Funds product which allows customers to deposit funds into their accounts (both at a branch or using our mobile app,) and get immediate access to these funds for a small fee. Additionally, this individual oversees our Foreign Currency products, in partnership with our vendor, to make it possible for our customers to buy or sell physical currency from other countries primarily for travel purposes. There may also be opportunities to expand into episodic jobs and identify value-add services. You are the right candidate for this role if you are strategically minded, have experience managing banking or payments products, and possess strong abilities in relationship management and vendor management.   • Create, enhance, and manage products and/or programs to meet goals and increase profitability.
  • Review new developments in customer segments, evaluate potential products, and recommend the development of new products or the modification of existing products.
  • Coordinate & direct the design and development of new products and the modification of existing products, in conjunction with Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Information Technology, Credit Risk, Operations, Delivery and Marketing.
  • Works with Delivery channel and Marketing to develop effective sales programs.
  • Provide analysis and product pricing of select products and services.
  • Evaluate the success of new products and recommend changes in the product or marketing strategy as appropriate.
  • Utilizes new trends and developments in the Bank's strategic plan to shape product and service offerings.
  • Ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained on all existing products.
  • Interprets and enforces product policies and guidelines across affiliates, departments and customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related business field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years product management and development experience, preferably within the financial industry.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills and project management experience.
