They work collaboratively to build products and experiences that unite the community in unique ways. Snap is looking for a Product Manager, Safety, to join their Product team. The role involves developing the product vision and strategy for safety and regulatory compliance areas to enhance trust and safety on Snapchat.
Responsibilities
- Develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for high impact safety and regulatory compliance product areas to increase trust and safety on Snapchat
- Define goals and own performance against key business metrics for community safety and compliance, and proactively drive accountability towards those goals
- Continuously identify and size new opportunities to improve features via data insights, user research, and design thinking
- Drive the team's roadmaps and execution end-to-end, from planning processes to design to development and through launch, authoring excellent documentation and sharing insights and results throughout the company
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand regulatory and compliance requirements and define solutions to meet obligations
Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a consumer or advertising technology company
Nice-to-haves
- Domain experience working in trust & safety, anti-abuse, or regulatory compliance
- Product Management experience working on a consumer product
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL, and doing descriptive and predictive analytics
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related fields
- A passion for Snapchat!
