Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. Our mission is to empower small businesses to connect seamlessly with their customers. We do this by building an intelligent, reliable, and simple communication platform that saves them time, enhances their productivity, and helps them grow their business. In this role, you will be an action-oriented, user-focused Product Manager (PM) who can help us ship the features and drive the next phase of our growth. AI will change the future of work in profound ways, and our products— Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Vids and Meet are at the forefront. From pre-computed summaries for email threads, summaries for meetings, and videos created from a document using lifelike AI avatars, our AI opportunity is huge. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning (AI/ML).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in one of the following: developing or launching AI/Large Language Models (LLMs)-based, Voice over IP (VoIP)/telephony, and SaaS products/features.
  • Experience launching new products and features, establishing clear ship criteria, and iterating quickly.
  • Experience turning ambiguous problems into clear, well-structured projects.
  • Experience making data-driven product decisions and working on data analysis (e.g., in SQL) to understand usage patterns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Legal, and other teams on technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to generate insights and communicate results to the wider organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and advocate a clear product outlook and road map for new AI-powered features and the product improvements.
  • Launch key Voice AI features, which could include follow-up actions (e.g., send notes to a Google Doc, book a follow-up appointment) and integrations with other Workspace products.
  • Drive user growth by analyzing the self-service sign-up and on-boarding funnel and launching optimizations to increase conversion and adoption.
  • Analyze sources of small business churn and implementing data-driven product improvements to reduce it.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Research, Marketing, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to design, implement, and launch innovative features.
