About The Position

Our team creates world- class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. This is a blended role, serving as a key member of the product team responsible for Storyliving by Disney as well as DXT Cast Events & Communications. Reporting jointly to the Senior Manager, Product Management and dotted line to Lead Product Manager, DSE.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3+ years combined business and digital experience
Served as the lead on small to medium digital and technology projects, including collaborating on estimates, scope, and plans
Experience with technical, user and business issues in a digital organization.
Identify and articulate the impact of the latest industry trends on our business.
Work collaboratively across large matrixed organizations
Experience collaborating with and achieve applicable results through others and the capability to interact within all levels
Experience with Agile software development methodology
Ability to work within a diverse and cross-functional teams in a meaningful way to produce quality results.
Demonstrated proficiency in strategy development and day-to-day opertions aligning with business priorities bringing the concepts to reality.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and proven experience driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and mediums.
Understanding of the latest product management frameworks and theories and how to apply them to create impactful experiences.
A understanding of current Disney Experience capabilities as it relates to converging technology seamlessly into the Guest experience.
Out of the box thinking, ability to broker creative solutions with internal and external teams to overcome roadblocks and move projects forward.
Executes on data driven strategies and staying abrest of the latest business and market trends while also monitoring guest behavior through analytics and consumer testing to track against KPI’s.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver against guest and business needs.
Serve as a business facing contact for cross-functional partners on the Storyliving by Disney business.
Collaborate with other Disney Experiences Tech & Digital teams to ensure alignment with product standards.
Stay abrest of the latest technology trends find strategic opportunities to use innovation to solve business problems.
Collaborate cross-functionally with technology and business leaders to establish commercial strategies using technology to drive the business.
Define the product strategy, creating outcome-based roadmaps and developing requirements.
Provide product and scorecard updates to business and technology leadership.
Negotiate through blockers.
Serve as part of squad on projects, assisting with their successful completion.
Work with development teams to ensure they have a deep understanding of the product objectives and priority, and help teams translate the product concepts into user stories, epics and other appropriate product deliverables
Support the team with documentation, industry research, reporting/analytics, project logistics, testing, and general coordination of feature launches/enhancements
Plan and execute recognition events & engaging communications that help create a workplace where Cast feel valued, seen, and inspired
Have an understanding of how to use product management models and technology to create an exceptional guest experience, support business operations and optimize Cast in a financially constrained and rapidly changing environment.
