About the position

Private funds manage $15T in capital and are growing at 20% YoY, but with increasing regulatory scrutiny and investor demands for transparency, the need for world class software to help private fund CFOs is crucial. This is where Maybern comes in. We are equipping fund managers with intuitive, flexible fund management software, enabling private investment managers to focus on what they do best: driving returns for their investors. We are backed by leading venture capital firms and a large number of strategic investors. Maybern is an NYC based company with a strong in-office culture to drive collaboration, and we are looking to make strong additions to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and data analysis to understand users’ needs and opportunity areas.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform product priorities and decisions.
  • Balance user experience with business goals and break down complex problems to identify and manage solutions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to deliver high-quality, technically complex features.
  • Define priorities and unblock the team as new questions arise.
  • Synthesize research learnings to share cross-functionally.
  • Keep stakeholders informed on progress, roadblocks, and impacts to timelines.
  • Leverage internal accounting expertise to inform scoping decisions.
  • Support the Director of Product and PM peers in strengthening product processes and shaping roadmap strategy.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of product management experience, ideally working on a B2B product.
  • Proven track record for delivering high impact product solutions.
  • Strong product sense and research skills.
  • Ability to make decisions balancing quantitative/qualitative data, domain expertise, and gut instinct.
  • Excitement for systems and logic, with willingness to dive into workflows.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to contribute to product vision.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to detail and excitement to 'get into the weeds'.
