Discover the mix of form and function that results in a winning product solving the customerâs problem. Talk with customers, explore new ideas, flesh out product concepts and test them out. * Define the product portfolio strategy. In conjunction with your colleagues, build and maintain a product portfolio roadmap that illustrates how your product initiatives will enable us to realize our corporate strategy and how all the product pieces fit together. * Build a customer network. Find answers to points of ambiguity by building a strong, supportive network among our customer base. * Define the product principals and evangelize. Discover not just a winning product but a winning vision. Define your product principals and sell the value of your product internally (to ensure success in execution) and externally (to ensure a warm reception by the market). * Be the product hub. Expect lots of requests and work hard to make connections. Connect different ideas and initiatives. Be the 'go to person'. Know the product intimately and be the final approver before the product is released. * Ask hard questions. Drill into the root cause of problems. Create and monitor metrics to drive business impact on decisions and product changes. * Bachelorâs degree (MBA preferred) and 5+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced, project-driven environment * Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products - expertise with SaaS product offerings, human capital, and user experience.
