Product Manager
C.H. Briggs is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team in our Reading, Pa location. This exciting role interfaces with Customers, Co-Workers and Vendors and requires attention to detail and great organizational skills. The successful candidate will possess the ability to act with urgency and effectively Take Action.
Under the direction of the CMO, this position will manage and set objectives for the Surfaces, Board and Hardware product lines to achieve the planned level of gross margin contribution within the approved levels of expenses. Plan, organize and lead the activities of the assigned Product Coordinator. Key management skills include analyzing data, identifying opportunities and problem solving. Communicating effectively through the organization is critical.
Job Requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide leadership, direction, and development for assigned staff, using the Take Action approach.
*
Identify new product offering for Surfaces, Board and Hardware product lines and potential new lines
*
Manage product lifecycle to minimize obsolesce
*
Pricing management, act as liaison between IT and Sales
*
DuPont pricing and rebates
*
Contract pricing management
*
Pricing direction, including special pricing and overall direction for all product lines
*
Identify and develop product programs and promotions
*
Oversight and direction of product coding, substitutions and compliments
*
Oversight and direction of all product lines
*
Assess market competition
*
Vendor analysis to ensure alignment with inventory and product mix
*
Oversee and direct Product Information Management (PIM) programs
