Sr. Product Manager, Insurance Products - Capital One Investing

Capital One Investing is the firms advice division, focused on delivering financial planning and related products and services to mass affluent clients. As a Senior Product Manager, Insurance, you will manage the full suite of life and long-term care products that are distributed through our Financial Advisor network.

The Sr Product Manager, Insurance will provide support to the Head of Product Management and other Product Managers in curating a best-in-class product offering, including whole life, variable life, variable universal life, term life, and long term care. This role will be critical in developing and executing the go-forward product strategy to support the growth of Capital Ones investing business. The Sr Product Manager will also assist with tasks related to product distribution, sales training and support, product due diligence, new product development and ongoing product management.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support in product strategy development and execution including but not limited to manufacturer and product research, management of product features, pricing and comp structures and product marketing and sales support.

- Partner with product manufacturers to analyze and evaluate new and existing products

- Maintain internal use approved product lists and product feature databases

- Coordinate partner selling agreement procurement and execution process

- Document and distribute for review, minutes of Product Review Committee meetings

- Maintain products and commissions in product management system

- Coordinate marketing material review between partners and Product Management

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree, equivalent certification or military experience

- At least 3 years of Product Management experience with life insurance and long-term care products

- At least 3 years of product strategy development and execution experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree

- 3+ years of experience in the Investment industry

- FINRA Series 7 license

- FINRA Series 63/65 or FINRA Series 66

- Life and Health Insurance license

- 5+ years of financial services experience in brokerage

- 5+ years of financial services experience in asset management
