About The Position

HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for an AI-powered customer research platform delivering human insights end-to-end. The company is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own how the product is positioned, communicated, and understood—both by existing customers and the broader market. This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on, execution-oriented PMM who thrives in startup environments. You will be the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market teams, and customers—building foundational messaging, lifecycle communications, and product storytelling from the ground up. This role is not designed for overly senior big-company PMMs or candidates without startup exposure. Stable career progression and strong writing ability are essential .

Requirements

  • 4+ years of total B2B marketing experience (4 years is a hard minimum)
  • 4–5 years of product marketing or closely related experience , ideally within B2B SaaS
  • Demonstrated experience building messaging and positioning frameworks—not just executing campaigns
  • At least 1 year of startup experience (Series A strongly preferred)
  • Strong written communication skills with content-heavy execution ability
  • Ability to operate as a standalone PMM, building structure and narrative independently
  • Must be able to work onsite in NYC or San Francisco
  • Stable resume with consistent tenure (no pattern of multiple roles under 1 year)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single-threaded owner of product positioning, messaging, and narrative development
  • Own the product changelog and education hub, ensuring new features are clearly communicated and easy to adopt
  • Lead lifecycle marketing for existing customers, including product release emails, newsletters, and customer-facing product communications
  • Stay tightly aligned with the product roadmap, translating technical updates into compelling customer value
  • Own and continuously evolve website messaging, including value propositions, ICP language, and use-case storytelling
  • Build and maintain foundational messaging frameworks across personas, industries, and customer segments
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure consistent GTM alignment
  • Operate with speed, autonomy, and strong creative judgment in a high-growth environment
