About the position

The Product Marketing Manager, Cardiac Surgery will lead downstream marketing efforts for Concomitant Surgical Ablation products, market development initiatives, and campaigns aimed at increasing therapy adoption. This role will work cross-functionally to support current and future products, clinical programs, and commercial campaigns, with a focus on expanding the adoption of concomitant surgical ablation and left atrial appendage exclusion therapies. The manager will collaborate closely with Sales and Commercial teams to develop and launch materials and programs that drive awareness and routine clinical adoption. This position will also engage with key internal partners across Research and Development, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Quality Systems, Regulatory, and Marketing to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute growth initiatives and business plans to drive adoption of cardiac surgery therapies.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall Cardiac Surgery franchise strategy and expand the AtriClip product line.
  • Utilizing strong communication skills, develop patient-focused marketing initiatives and materials, including content creation and claims support.
  • Partner with the field sales team to refine, implement, and support marketing strategies and programs that achieve sales performance objectives.
  • Work closely with Research and Development to manage sustaining engineering activities for existing products and support new product development initiatives.
  • Oversee essential marketing operations, including updating promotional materials, creating social media content, conducting regulatory reviews, and maintaining internal websites.
  • Gather and incorporate qualitative and quantitative voice-of-customer feedback to guide product development and marketing campaign strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and support business goals through customer education, advising, and formal presentations.
  • Propose and implement growth strategies, therapy positioning, messaging, and market segmentation initiatives to maximize promotional opportunities across sales, digital marketing, physician education programs, tradeshows, and podium strategies.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to inform strategic planning, product pipeline development, and internal stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and execute competitive strategies, sales messaging, training programs, and initiatives aimed at maintaining and growing market share.
  • Support sales training efforts, including onboarding of new sales representatives and launch training for new products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Biomedical Engineering or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years downstream marketing experience, medical device experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success with sales collaboration and launch execution.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, such as engineering teams.
  • Builds and nurtures relationships internally and with external customers.
  • Analytical and strategic, effective technical writer, and strong moderator/presenter.
  • Hands-on and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clinical experience in experience in acute or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Experience with international organizations and customers preferred.
  • Ability to travel 20-35% domestic.
