About the position

The Product Marketing Manager will play a key role in aligning our products with market needs and customer expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, customer success and product and technology teams to ensure our products are positioned effectively, launched successfully, and consistently refined based on feedback and insights. The focus will be on understanding the market, defining our product strategy, and supporting the execution of marketing campaigns. As part of a small team, this role requires a self-starter who is energized by the opportunity to build and shape the product marketing function from the ground up. You should also be flexible and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to understand market needs, customer pain points, and industry trends.
  • Develop personas and craft product positioning and messaging that differentiates us in the market.
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, feature updates, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral, including product decks, battlecards, competitive comparisons, and train sales teams on how to use them effectively.
  • Collaborate with demand generation team member to support development of marketing campaigns, webinars, and content that drive awareness, leads and pipeline.
  • Build and execute programs to collect customer testimonials and case studies, and support customer marketing efforts at events and conferences.
  • Support partner marketing initiatives by developing messaging, sales tools, and campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing insights with sales, product and technology, and partner teams to inform strategy and drive improvements.
  • Analyze data from Salesforce and other tools to uncover insights that inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Track, measure, and report on key product marketing KPIs and metrics to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in product marketing or a related role, preferably in B2B or technology environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B software or tech industry.
  • Experience in financial services, automotive, or lending sectors also a plus.
  • Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis.
