About the position

The Product Marketing Senior Manager will be responsible for the conception and execution of messaging and marketing campaigns designed to generate awareness (internally/externally) and lead generation for public safety worldwide. This role can be worked fully remote. In this role, he/she will work closely with the SVP Public Safety and the marketing leadership team to identify the programs needed to produce thought leadership content, personas, and account-based marketing programs as well as strategic partnerships. He/she will also work closely with the regional marketing leads to develop a constant and targeted list of sales prospects worldwide. He/she will collaborate to define priorities, scope, plan schedules, drive work efforts, and monitor campaigns and programs from inception through delivery and measurement. He/she will be responsible for nurturing marketing strategies, SEO, marketing analytics and lead reporting. The Product Marketing Manager will work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional and global teams, including Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, and Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop public safety marketing plans/programs in alignment with sales, business development and product development goals
  • Continuously monitor and communicate the status of public safety marketing programs
  • Work with the SVP of public safety in identifying key strategic go-to-market alliances
  • Track public safety marketing budget in accordance with plan and guidelines
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of marketing plan initiatives within budget
  • Research and develop dynamic thought leadership messaging to serve as the guide for all public safety marketing initiatives, including those with partners
  • Collaborate with sales to create marketing plans that include buyer personas with audience segmentation for 1:few and 1:1 and marketing plans
  • Project manage development of public safety sales and marketing kits/tools (brochures, product sheets, white papers, newsletters, presentations, buying guides etc.)
  • Manage communication cadence with product development, sales and marketing teams of public safety product and portfolio marketing initiatives, incorporating stakeholders' needs and goals into the master plan
  • Coordinate and manage customer interaction with regional marketing and sales to establish reference accounts and case studies, better understand the buying process and provide means for valuable customer feedback
  • Assist in the development and management of public safety digital initiatives including web presence, keywords, social media, Webinars, online events, e-mail marketing, blogs, etc.
  • Provide planning and execution support for public safety events and tradeshows, including presentations
  • Provide support for media and analyst initiatives (research reports, editorial and paid advertising)
  • Ensure compliance with organizational brand guidelines throughout all marketing programs and supporting materials
  • Work as a public safety liaison with internal and external entities
  • Continuously monitor and report on trends/developments including competitive landscape

Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, marketing, communications or related field; MBA a plus
  • 6 to 10 years of software marketing experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management
  • Public safety industry, SaaS, software or B2B technology marketing experience is a plus
  • Successful record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans and detailed project management
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Experience in managing and directing multi-national marketing programs is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Demandbase, SEO, account-based marketing and marketing automation tools is a plus

  • Able to present information and ideas in a team or individual setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – MS Word, Excel; strong PowerPoint knowledge required and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Additional knowledge of CMS and Pardot is a plus
