That being said, we are seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to join our team! This role will collaborate closely with product teams across our three product lines to gather information and support the launch of new and enhanced products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating product assets, including promotional and instructional materials, managing digital asset libraries, and ensuring proper publication processes. They must be highly organized and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy in hardware and software applications, comfortable working with digital tools and platforms, and able to understand technical product details to communicate their value effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product teams to gather information about new and enhanced product/service launches.
  • Work closely with product teams to gather information about products or services identified as end-of-life.
  • Develop marketing assets, including sales enablement materials, promotional content, and technical materials related to the product or service.
  • Create and manage requirements for video content to support product marketing initiatives.
  • Design, edit, and maintain product marketing materials.
  • Organize, maintain, and manage a library of product marketing assets, ensuring accessibility for internal stakeholders.
  • Keep an updated inventory of products within the internal report.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and customer support, to align messaging and ensure product marketing materials meet their needs.
  • Lead established cadence meetings with the product teams.
  • Ensure all publications (new and revised) follow the required approval and release processes.
  • Stay updated with product updates, enhancements, and technical specifications to accurately communicate value propositions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing communications, or a related field.
  • Tech-savvy in hardware and software solutions.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms.
  • Experience in a project management platform like Jira or Wrike.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, digital assets, and publication processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a technical or product-driven environment.
  • Intermediate technical proficiency, with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to managing processes such as ECNs and asset libraries.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with 5 years of relevant marketing or product experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, and Canva.
  • Experience in B2B product marketing.
  • Direct security industry experience is a plus.
