Position Summary: We are looking for a Product Operations, Sr Associate to join the athenahealth Product Operations team. Ideal candidate will have Revenue Cycle Management background and understand the entire life cycle of a feature, driving the execution and customer coordination of pre-GA activities (alpha & beta) to enable better release outcomes. The candidate will support Revenue Cycle Management Related features from creation to GA, leading thoughtful planning of established alpha/beta test practices, alignment of internal services and customer enablement end user enablement teams, and driving accelerated value across the features supported, while coaching Product Owners on athenahealth Product Management best practices. Candidate also will demonstrate a proficient background in other markets athenahealth serves today - electronic health records, population health, and/or patient engagement strategies – and has a foundational understand of the product management discipline and a working knowledge of agile scrum. You have a passion for improving healthcare. Your self-starter drive helps you achieve meaningful results with empathy for the users of our products and services. Your stakeholder management skills enable you to influence others both horizontally and vertically within and outside the organization. You understand the software development process and appreciate the diverse personalities in our cross-functional teams. About the Team: The Product Operations team is responsible for helping drive value for the athenahealth Product Management organization by providing analytics-based, consultative feedback rooted in alpha and beta product development testing best practices. We are looking for a mission-driven, innovative, and outcomes-oriented teammate to join us in our quest to enhance and drive progress for athenahealth’s Product organization, enabling the improvement of the healthcare industry for the better.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Previous experience in related healthcare and product management fields required
  • Minimum 5 years overall professional experience, inclusive of 1 - 2 years of related RCM client communications, product management, or user research preferred
  • Experience with client communications in a B2B setting preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence higher co-horted stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with customers
  • Travel Requirements 10% for tri-annual offsite and industry education (ex: on-sites, conferences, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Accelerating the delivery and impact of features and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) roadmap alignment
  • Planning, executing, and measuring product features proof of concepts & tests
  • Driving efficient cross-scrum team R&D operating and dependency management performance
  • Organizing and planning product tests to ensure the adoptability and scalability of both new products and product enhancements
