Product Overview: Our AI Product Team will deliver advanced AI and ML-powered features designed to enhance multiple critical channels within the Billing & Payments ecosystem: Direct Customer Channel: Empower customers with intuitive, AI-driven self-service options that provide personalized, real-time assistance and streamline billing and payment processes, enhancing satisfaction and simplifying interactions. Agent Channel: Equip our agents with intelligent tools and actionable insights to improve first contact resolution, reduce escalations, and enable faster, more informed support engagements. Operations: Drive operational efficiency through intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and data-driven insights that optimize billing workflows, reduce costs, and support scalable, compliant payment operations.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally in FinTech or Billing & Payments domains
Proven expertise in delivering AI and Machine Learning powered products or features, with a strong understanding of their impact on customer experience and operational efficiency
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of building trust-based relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders
Ability to clearly and compellingly convey complex AI/ML concepts and product visions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated high ownership and initiative, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders to drive business outcomes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to inform product decisions
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience facilitating agile teams

Nice To Haves

Experience working in Billing & Payments, Digital Payments, or broader FinTech ecosystems
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security considerations relevant to billing and payments solutions
Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI companion technologies
Background working with generative AI (GenAI) or advanced machine learning delivery
Bachelor's degree, a plus
AWS certifications, a plus

Responsibilities

Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for AI and ML initiatives within the Billing & Payments suite, aligned with enterprise goals
Collaborate closely with business strategy team, engineering, data science, UX, and other business stakeholders to translate customer needs and market trends into prioritized features and user stories
Serve as the voice of the customer, leveraging data insights, chat logs, and user feedback to identify opportunities and measure impact
Manage the product backlog, ensuring clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and timely delivery of valuable AI capabilities
Facilitate agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative, outcome-focused team environment
Continuously evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and industry best practices to inform product innovation and maintain competitive advantage
Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to leadership and stakeholders, driving alignment and support.

Benefits

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
Potential starting salary range: $115,000 - $150,000
Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
