About the position

As a Product Owner, you will lead the development of Labmatrix, our flagship platform for sample tracking and consent management. You will manage the product backlog, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of high-impact features that meet client needs in the life sciences space.

Responsibilities

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the Labmatrix product backlog to align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories focused on sample tracking, consent management, and biobanking.
  • Collaborate with development, design, QA, and commercial teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product functionality and requirement clarification.
  • Communicate progress and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and approve completed work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Monitor product performance and use metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with life sciences platforms such as Labmatrix or similar.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira and familiarity with Scrum practices.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and backlog management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable development tasks.
