Join our vision of becoming the world’s leading provider of energy solutions for e-mobility. THIS IS A NIGGHT SHIFT POSITION. 12 hour rotating shifts. Module PQC (Process Quality Control) supervisor will be responsible for the management of a team of PQC inspectors who will perform inspection of the products of assembly process utilizing appropriate inspection methodology, as well as conducting final inspection before product shipment. PQC supervisor will be responsible for verification of standards for all the inspection items, and for updating and optimizing inspection standards as needed. PQC supervisor is responsible to ensure that all Product inspection and production process controls are carried out based on the internal procedures and policies. When defects are found lead containment, analysis, and resolution to prevent defect propagation. PQC supervisor is also responsible for documentation, communication and read across all issue's corrective actions. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial automation and controls experience with strong foundation in project management
  • Must be able to work a 12-hour night shift schedule including weekends.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees within all areas of the organization including hourly employees to Senior Leadership
  • Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally
  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
  • Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams
  • Ability to coach / mentor / develop PQC Inspectors
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work overtime as required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university or equivalent. (Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, or Mechatronics may also be considered with technical industry experience)
  • Bilingual English / Korean
  • Master's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
  • Shainin Red X / Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience with the AIAG Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plans, FMEA, Production Part Approval Process, MSA, and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Experience with quality certification and system such as ISO9001/IATF16949 is required
  • Familiar with World Class Manufacturing pillar methodology and implementation
  • Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access or other database applications
  • Good working knowledge of Google Suite software programs
  • ASQ Certification in Quality and Reliability

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training for Module PQC Inspectors
  • To ensure all PQC Inspectors complete all assigned tasks in timely and efficient manner
  • Lead investigation and root cause analysis of non-conformances. Ensure continuous monitoring of all corrective actions and process improvement measures
  • Review and update product specifications, inspection standards, manuals, and lesson learned activities
  • Ensure on-going data collection and analysis to assure Module quality
  • Continues improvement activity to optimize and enhance the efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  • Maintain quality inspection equipment and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure inspection accuracy and repeatability
  • Perform data analysis to identify areas for improvement of quality system
  • Develop, implement, and monitor efficacy of corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare updates and reports of quality outcome to communicate quality activities
  • Provide management updates regularly
  • Facilitate reviews to eliminate internal systemic and external roadblocks. Collaborate with management on team road map and strategy
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to provide delivery according to schedule
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver internal and external results on time
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to clarify business and technical requirements for Module Quality Assurance
