Description:

The Product & Channel Support Specialist (PCSS) serves as the primary interface and point person for Specialty Product lines and D1 distributors. The PCSS manages the interfaces between departments and customers for Specialty Product offerings, assists commercial sales reps, D1 Territory Managers, and CRMs in the selling, customer support, and operational activities associated with Specialty Product offerings and the D1 distributor channel and manages the day to day relationship with the customer after the contract is earned. The essential PCSS job duties include assisting territory managers and commercial sales representatives with account profitability, operations improvement, customer satisfaction, business development support, and product line technical support.

Responsibilities

Relationship Management

* Develops and implement a regular contact strategy to connect with existing customers and prospects to support the specialty product lines, including DEF and Additives.
* Develop good long term customer relationships, and high customer satisfaction
* Presents to prospective customers on Mansfields customer support
* Identifies growth opportunities with existing clients to market and sell the full menu of Mansfield Oil products and services
* Uses the Product Line Manager within Mansfield to coordinate a streamlined message to every existing client with regard to our Product Portfolio and service offerings
* Assists CRMs in supporting Mansfield fleet customers
* Coordinates with the Commercial Sales Representative and D1 Territory Managers to ensure seamless interaction with the customer during on boarding
* Manages the details of ongoing customer relationships in a way that enables the Commercial Sales Representative and D1 Territory Manager to be actively prospecting for new customers and increasing the fuel volumes and products with existing customers
* Identifies opportunities for spot sales with existing customers and communicates those opportunities to customers to increase volume and margins

Account Profitability

* Supports strategies to improve customer profitability
* Builds tools to select best Terminal to Destination (Least Cost Routing) methodologies for all current and new business to maximize margins and profitability for each load
* Reviews freight and product payable exceptions

Business and Technical Support

* Educates and train internal and external customers to utilize Mansfield Oil website, including collaboration with IT group for necessary passwords, security levels, etc
* Reviews credit and rebill requests and accept or deny as needed, as well as track requests
* Completes new account set-up and change requests as needed to support CRM
* Provides data support for Territory Managers, Sales Representatives and CRMs to develop compelling sales presentations, using gap analysis, benchmarks, and other analysis tools
* Assists Territory Managers, CRMs and Sales Representative in RFP bid preparation and response.
* Participate (by phone or in person) in New Customer Implementation Meetings with customers
* Prepares business rules for New Customers
* Leads New Customer Implementation Meetings with internal MOC Department

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

* Bachelors degree required

Knowledge & Experience

* Microsoft Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
* Two (2) to five (5) years business to business experience
* Good presentation and formal proposal skillsPr
* Knowledge of the Specialty Products lines, including DEF and additives
* Knowledge of the logistics and distribution infrastructures associated with the Specialty Product lines, with deeper expertise and knowledge in product lines where the PCSS is dedicated (e.g., DEF or additives)
* Self-starter; self-motivated; sense of urgency; personable; extroverted personality; well organized; ability to focus and pay attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task, analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment

Qualifications & Characteristics

* Ability to operate effortlessly in Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system Ability to conduct research and generate reports from Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system Ability to conduct spreadsheet analyses of business data
* Cross functional problem solving skills to address and resolve operational challenges and shortcomings both internally and externally

Work Environment

* 40-hour on-site work week
* Sitting for extended periods of time
* Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
