Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is looking for a Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) to join our team to drive growth through exceptional parts and service sales in Western & Southwest MN. In this role, you’ll build relationships with an assigned customer list and work to strengthen partnerships, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that keep our customers’ operations running strong. Requirements

  • Four (4) year degree preferred or equivalent experience in the Heavy Construction Industry.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of organization.
  • This position requires climbing on and off heavy equipment, and the ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
  • Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
  • Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales activity and drive revenue growth across parts and service by effectively leveraging PSSR performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and execute a consistent call planning strategy to ensure timely, proactive communication with all assigned customers.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new aftermarket sales opportunities through strategic analysis and customer engagement.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain strong customer relationships with both existing accounts and high potential prospects.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal departments to understand customer needs and ensure delivery of exceptional service and support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel periodically to cover territory and for training purposes.
